SIGMA's COO/CFO nominated as finalist for Financial Executive of the Year.
April 17, 2009, Rochester, NY — Jaime Sanchez, COO and CFO of SIGMA Marketing Group is one of twelve individuals who have been selected as finalists for the second annual Financial Executive of the Year Awards.
The awards-launched in 2008 by the Rochester chapter of Financial Executives International and the Rochester Business Journal-spotlight financial executives who have made outstanding contributions to their organizations and the community.
Winners will be announced during a May 14 luncheon at which Thomas Golisano, founder and chairman of Paychex Inc., is to be keynote speaker.
Financial executives from non-profit, public and private companies in Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Livingston, Orleans and Genesee counties were eligible for nomination. An award will be handed out in each of four categories: non-profit, smaller private company, larger private company and public company.
The criteria used to evaluate the nominees are professional accomplishments, ethics, leadership pertaining to their organization's financial performance and civic involvement.
The finalists will be profiled in the May 1 edition of the Rochester Business Journal.
FEI was founded in 1931 and has 1,600 members and 86 chapters in the United States and Canada. The Rochester chapter, started some 75 years ago, is one of the original FEI chapters.
