SIGMA Marketing Group Wins International Award for Water Education Campaign

-SIGMA Wins Silver and Bronze Awards at the
2008 International Summit Creative Awards-

May 9, 2008, Rochester, NY —A breakthrough water education marketing campaign turned in a heroic performance for SIGMA Marketing Group at the 2008 International Summit Creative Awards.

SIGMA’s entry, entitled “H2O Hero” earned a Bronze Award in the category of PSA Television and a Silver Award in the category of PSA Multi-Media campaign. Created for the Water Education Collaborative of Rochester, NY, the campaign features an animated character, H2O Hero, whose mission it is to raise public awareness of water pollution problems in Lake Ontario. H2O Hero also provides tips and solutions for changing everyday household habits that may contribute to water pollution. The campaign was composed of print, television, radio and online components.

The International Summit Creative Awards recognize and celebrate the creative accomplishments of small-and medium-sized advertising agencies and other creative companies throughout the world with annual billings of under $30 million. Over the last decade, the competition has established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size.

Winners are selected in categories that include print, broadcast, online advertising, multimedia, printed material, direct mail, sales promotion, political, corporate video, public service, best idea never produced, industry self-promotion and student submissions.

The International Summit Creative Awards is the only competition of its kind and receives entries from countries around the globe, including Australia, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Singapore, Ukraine and the United States. This year, more than 3,000 entries were judged in the competition.
