SIGMA MARKETING GROUP ANNOUNCES ACQUISITIONS
Acquisitions Create a New Vision for Industry Leader in Knowledge-Based Marketing

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 4, 2007 — SIGMA Marketing Group, an industry leader in knowledge-based marketing, along with its lead investor DeltaPoint Capital, today announced the acquisition of three marketing companies, Creative Communications, Inc., eLocal Marketing, and Strategic Targeting, Inc. Operating under the name SIGMA Marketing Group, the newly combined company will meet a wider set of client needs, with the ability to provide a broad range of marketing services in a variety of channels, including Internet marketing, mobile marketing, advertising, database marketing, marketing analytics and branding.  SIGMA also announced the appointment of a new executive management team comprised of leaders from all four companies.

Kenyon Blunt, founder of eLocal Marketing and Bullseye Marketing, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the combined company.  Jim Byrnes, of SIGMA, will be the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Max Coats, formerly of Creative Communications, Inc., was named Executive Vice President, and Jerry Montgomery, founder of Strategic Targeting, Inc., was named Senior Vice President.

“These acquisitions will create a unified company with a stronger platform for future innovation within the marketing services industry,” said Blunt. “In addition, the new SIGMA Marketing Group will offer customers enhanced insights and quicker results with the use of proprietary analytic software that enables analyses to be performed in real-time.”

SIGMA will not only expand product and service offerings, but also its geographic reach, with an office in Richmond, V.A. that will grant access to Eastern corridor cities. SIGMA’s headquarters will remain in Rochester, N.Y.  The acquisition will bring new jobs to both markets. By year-end, SIGMA plans to add 12 jobs in Rochester and grow the Richmond office to over 25 employees.

DeltaPoint Capital is a private equity firm headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., that invested in SIGMA in May 2006.  “Our original investment in SIGMA funded a management-led buy out.  This follow-on transaction is the first step in a business plan designed to allow SIGMA to reinvent itself as a new-age, world-class marketing services organization. DeltaPoint Capital is very supportive of the company and the new management team,” said David Waterman, Managing Director of DeltaPoint Capital.

“We are committed to SIGMA’s core competency of database marketing, focusing on the ability to fully leverage the customer knowledge that drives clients’ corporate revenue, while increasing the satisfaction and loyalty of their customers,” added Blunt. “SIGMA’s vision for the combined company includes an end-to-end marketing services firm rooted in customer knowledge and insights used to deliver services, media-neutral strategies, and brand-integrated communications through multiple channels.”
